Young anglers learn how to cast and fly fish

Reel them in! Young anglers learn a thing or two about casting and catching gilled beauties at the Pop-up Macy’s Fishing Clinic at the Audubon Center in Prospect Park on July 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28.

This popular program offers children age 15 and younger the opportunity to hone their fishing skills. Participants learn about aquatic ecology, fishing safety, and even get to collect their own bait. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Fishing clinics, July 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28 from noon to 5 pm. Free.
