Lightwire Theater’s new glow-in-the-dark show, “Moon Mouse, A Space Odyssey,” tells the story of Marvin the Mouse, a lovable but bullied rodent who escapes his troubles by building a rocket and flying to the moon. This interactive, fun-for-all-ages show follows Marvin’s journey of self-acceptance and self-confidence, set to the musical score of classics like Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” Video elements, special light effects, and heartfelt storytelling are just some elements of this innovative theatrical experience. Kids will be over-the-moon excited watching the glow-in-the-dark puppets and learning that “cool” is really about being yourself. (Saturday) -
