Weekend Planner: February 4-6

There is so much family fun going on we don’t know where to begin!

We’re especially excited about the annual Winter Jam NYC on Saturday, Lunar New Years celebrations at the Met and in Chinatown (the big parade), Lincoln Center’s Meet the Artist Saturdays with jazz-for-kids group Coal Train Railroad, the Haitian Children’s Day Festival at the Children’s Museum of the Arts, a concert by the Grammy-nominated band Milkshake at Symphony Space and the "Diversity on Sesame Street" program at the JCC. —

Need a few more ideas? Why not check out our big indoor fun guide, with ideas on our favorite play spaces, craft studios, new museum exhibits and more hands on, indoor fun for families. Check it all out here.

And though summer camp
may be the last thing on your mind in the middle of a blizzard, now is
the perfect time to start looking into finding the perfect day camp,
sleepaway camp or specialty camp for your child. New York Family and
the American Camp Association of New York, New Jersey is hosting the final Manhattan camp fair of the winter season this Saturday in Washington Heights. Click here for more information.
