Hudson RiverFlicks at Pier 46 in Hudson River Park
Spend your Friday evenings at Hudson River Park’s RiverFlicks Family Fridays, which will show PG movies all summer. From “Minions” to “Shaun the Sheep,” the series features recent favorites as well as family classics. Other features include “Goosebumps,” “Penguins of Madagascar,” “The Princess Bride,” “Kung Fu Panda 3,” and more. This free event also offers free popcorn! (Starts Friday) -
"Adventures from Ezra Jack Keats: Skates! & Maggie and the Pirate" at TADA! Youth Theater
Whether you like dogs who skate, crickets, or pirates, TADA! Youth Theater has something for you this summer. From July 9 through the first week of August, their Resident Youth Ensemble will perform two pieces based on stories by Ezra Jack Keats, and everyone is invited! The first is "Skates!" a wheeled adventure, and the second is "Maggie the Pirate," a story about friends that kids and adults will love. Check the site for times on specific days, as they vary.
