There are so many festive happenings going on for families this weekend, we don’t know where to begin! We’re particularly excited about the Winterfest celebration in Central Park, the East Meets West Holiday Parade in Chinatown and Little Italy, the Whiskers In Wonderland pet adoption event, and the performance of "Miracle on 34th Street" at the Macy’s Puppet Theatre.

If you feel like taking your kids to a holiday performance, there are plenty to choose from, like Galli Fairtale Theater’s rendering of "Snow White And The 7 Dwarfs," the Seaport Museum’s Magic Lantern Show, Symphony Space’s presentation of "Capoeira Luanda and Ballet Los Pampas" and Amore Opera’s production of "Hansel & Gretel."
If you’re feeling Christmas-y, of course, you can take a sleigh ride through the Bronx Zoo, check out the 100th Anniversary Reading of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,‘ or channel the Christmas spirit at the Riverside Church’s Caroling Festival.
