Families in the Westchester area have two new holiday-themed attractions this holiday season.
This past Saturday, November 7, Ridge Hill’s Forest City Ratner Companies and DreamWorks Animation teamed up to celebrate “Adventure to Santa”, an interactive entertainment event back for its second season. The Yonkers Lincoln Honors Choir performed live holiday music and families enjoyed an aerial circus show by Cirque-tacular Entertainment. The Santa House was lit for the season with help from the charitable organization, ANDRUS, which also aids in Ridge Hill’s annual toy drive for children in need. Families can still visit “Adventure to Santa” until December 24th, 7 days a week (closed only on Thanksgiving Day). See Santa, hear holiday stories, play games, and view magnificent lightshows. Reservations can be made at the Ridge Hill website: http://ridgehill.com.
Another fun way to celebrate the holiday season is with the Radio City Rockettes at LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester. Families can meet the famed Rockettes at the LEGOLAND MINILAND attraction which will open Nov. 17th. LEGOLAND will be transformed into a winter wonderland with a new exhibit built to honor the Radio City Christmas Spectacular®. Along with the new display, children can play with the LEGO bricks in play areas, enjoy rides, view productions in the 4D cinema, and attend master classes by professional LEGO builders.
