Celebrate Memorial Day in Brooklyn and Queens

Memorial Day is observed on Monday, May 27 this year and is a federal holiday to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country’s armed forces and military. Get into the spirit of patriotism and remembrance by celebrating Memorial Day all weekend long at one of these events happening in Brooklyn and Queens, such as parades in Bay Ridge and Little Neck, outdoor events in Prospect Park, a concert in Greenwood Heights, crafts in Flushing, and a fair in Sunnyside. Also see where to celebrate Memorial Day across the New York City area, including Manhattan, Westchester and Rockland counties, and on Long Island.
