The New York Hall of Science’s Earth Day Celebration

The New York Hall of Science is devoting a whole weekend to an unforgettable Earth Day Celebration. Kids will learn all about environmental science, recycling, air quality, composting, and more with a variety of hands-on activities. “Garbagena” makes recycling fun for kids, teaching how to separate trash, plastic, paper, and metal in a sorting game. In “earth worm a-rama,” kids will learn about dirt and nature’s cycles and then dig for earthworms. $11; ages 2-17 $8. April 25-26.11am-5pm. The New York Hall of Science, 47-01 111th Street, Flushing. 718-699-0005. www.nyscience.org.
