An annual event that is always a big and popular hit with parents with children of all ages, the 92Y’s Parenting Conference is coming up on Sunday, April 17. This year’s Conference is titled “Parenting: What You Bring to the Table,” and it will feature legendary parenting experts like Michael Thompson and Kyle Pruett on fatherhood; Anne Fishel on the importance of storytelling and conversation (especially at the dinner table); and JoAnn Deak on the difference between how girls and boys think and the science behind it. The actor Hank Azaria also gets in on the fun.
The title of the Conference refers to the goal of highlighting the different strengths (be it tough love, a sense of humor, or homespun wisdom) that each individual parent can bring to the proverbial table to make an impact on their children’s lives. Don’t miss this unique and illuminating annual event!
