Stroller Scoop

Bugaboo is big. And even though I am a fan of many different brands of strollers, the arrival of their new Bugaboo Donkey is a huge deal. At its “launch party” at giggle’s Soho store, there was actually a red carpet and, yes, this was partially done just to be fun, but it shows just how important this stroller will be to New Yorkers.

Called the “Donkey” (because a donkey can carry cargo with ease and is known for being faithful, intelligent and eager to learn), it’s billed as both a single and double stroller because it really does convert just that easily (in three clicks). It’s no wider than the Cameleon, and will dazzle you with its many features. It’s intended to meet the needs of city moms who love their Bug, but need something for two.

Even as a mom to just one, I would still love this stroller–then someday if I do have another child, it would be just as useful.
