Stride Rite’s Snazzy Spring/Summer Collections

CB55006_M2PPhibian_Grey_S16_1For over 100 years, Stride Rite has been a name families can trust. Today, their shoes come in an assortment of styles and snazzy colors! Looking for cool, safe, and versatile kicks for your little ones? Look no further! Stride Rite just debuted their spring/summer products, and they are “on fleek” (as the kids say).

Built for beginning walkers, their Soft Motion collection has some brand new styles available. This line has rounded soles to help improve your toddler’s balance. The Soft Motion collection has a selection of classic colors and trendy metallics!

For a slightly older kids, Stride Rite’s Phibian collection is a durable sneaker-sandal, great for frolicking on land and sea! These shoes are machine-washable, slip-resistant, and quick-dry.

Launching early this summer, the Leepz collection is fun and funky. The sole of this athletic shoe lights up with each step. Inspired by a new character, Leepz the frog, the sole has brightly-colored balls around the outside of the sole.

“There is so much color happening in athletics right now. It’s really sticking with kids because kids love color,” says Marc Loverin, the creative director of Stride Rite Children’s Group. “People can pick what they like,” Loverin notes, adding that he’s seeing a shift towards gender-neutrality in colors.

And what’s more, Stride Rite has partnered with Soles4Souls to collect shoes for children in need around the world. Stride Rite has set up donation bins in all retail stores across the country, and customers are offered a 5 percent discount when they bring in a pair of shoes to donate. This year, Stride Rite hopes to collect 250,000 pairs of shoes!
