Spooktacular Fun At Sesame Place

sesame_zoeCome in costume and get ready for some silly and not-too-spooky fun at the Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! It looks like Abby Cadabby took her wand and magically transformed Sesame Place into a Halloween haven. There are special, seasonal Halloween decorations, themed shows, Abby Cadabby’s Magical Halloween Maze, a fun filled hayride with everyone’s favorite Sesame friends, a rubber duckie costume disco, and more!

It was a sunny day at Sesame Place for a Halloween howl. When we arrived and crossed under the welcome sign with the Count on it and bats flying everywhere, I knew I was in for a trick-or-treat surprise! There were silly skeletons, ghosts, spider webs, and infinite numbers decorating the entry. And throughout the park there was endless Halloweens fun. From Sesame Street jack-o-lanterns and Halloween photo stations to trick-or-treat stops and characters dressed up in Halloween costumes, there was fun for Sesame fans of all ages. Plus, all the rocking’ rides and attractions were open for me to enjoy. I even went on the Vapor Trail rollercoaster for the first time and loved it. I wanted to go on again and again!

sesame 3My little sister loved the three Halloween shows, especially “Elmo the Musical Live: Halloween!” She enjoyed learning about Halloween costumes, trick-or-treating and other magic from Elmo. She even said “Elmo” for the first time. She is saying so many new words and “Elmo” is an important one. As for me, I loved dancing my pants off at Ernie’s Rubber Duckie Costume Party. There was a giant bath tub for everyone to dance in and the biggest rubber duckie I had ever seen! It made quite a splash! Ernie and Bert came to the party dressed as a duckie and a pigeon and started dancing, so I did too. We busted a move to the Pigeon and other upbeat numbers the DJ spun. Rubber Duckie made disco time oh-so fun!

The Halloween fun continued as I danced my way over to meet and greet my best Sesame friends. Everyone was dressed in their Halloween finest. Elmo was dressed like a kitty cat, Abby like a fairy princess, and Ernie like a pirate—everyone looked incredible. So I put on my best smile and I kept my cool, as usual, and introduced to my little sister to them. She ooohed and aaahed with excitement at seeing her favorite celebrities in person. We both gave them big hugs and waves and I personally told them how amazing they are, that we are big fans and treated them to a great, big Elle Belle hug. We cozied up for some special, group photos and said trick-or-treat! Then I used my manners to say thank you.

sesame 5The last stop of the Halloween hay ride for me was the Count’s Halloween Spooktacular “Neighborhood Street Party” parade. It was a blast! And the finale was a happy Halloween song that is so catchy that Mommy, Daddy, and I all couldn’t stop singing it! The parade had 10 terrific floats sparkling for the season and new music and dancing that will had everyone busting a move. The exciting, new performances all educated us about Halloween fun including trick-or-treating, dressing in costume and doing the “Jack-O-Lantern Jump!” My favorite was the Sesame rendition of “I Want Candy!”

Everyone will love the Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place and want to make it a Halloween tradition. The countdown to Halloween has begun so join the Count and celebrate the Count’s Halloween Spooktacular! T0 learn more, visit sesameplace.com!
