The Puppets on Film festival returns to the Brooklyn Academy of Music for a fourth year in a row on Oct. 25 and 26.
Together with the Jim Henson Foundation and BAMcinematek, the festival features the best puppetry on film.
Along with workshops there are screenings of Shortstacks! Kids Shorts Program on Oct. 25 at 11 am, “Muppets Most Wanted” (pictured) on Oct. 25 at 11 am, and “Davy Jones’ Locker” on Oct. 26 at 11 am.
The workshops teach attendees all about the different types of puppets and how to develop puppetry skills, as well as create a marionette-style animal puppet.
Workshops are on Oct. 25 from 10 am to 12:30 pm and on Oct. 26 from 10 am to 12:15 pm.
Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are $7.
