You can find Nemo in Coney Island!
The New York Aquarium revealed on Friday its newest attractions — and both feature the clownfish made famous by the classic 2003 Disney movie.
A gigantic coral reef installation — a 167,000-gallon tank that replicates Glover’s Reef, the largest reef on this side of the Atlantic, located on the coast of Belize in Central America — features a school of the beloved fish, along with green moray eels, majestic stingrays, and bright angelfish.
And right around the corner, a new Conservation Hall highlights three habitats: the southwest Pacific Ocean’s Coral Triangle, which also features the clownfish; Africa’s Great Lakes, featuring species that are unique to its waters; and Brazil’s Flooded Forest, which gives you an up-close and personal view of piranhas in action.
