Who said pregnant moms can’t dress up in sultry lingerie and walk the catwalk? At Lingerie Fashion Week, expectant moms of all stages of pregnancy strutted the runway showcasing the colorful You! Lingerie and lounge-wear pieces. You! Lingerie is a maternity lingerie brand that encourages moms-to-be to feel sexy and confident during their pregnancy.

What was so special about You!’s recent fashion show at the recent Lingerie Fashion Week, was that the pregnant models who walked the runway were not the typical super models that usually strut at fashion shows: They were of all different shape, sizes, and ethnicities–and they were all pregnant.

Additionally, the models were styled in glittered make up, choppy black bob and bright colored lingerie. The overall look was super-glam and really celebrated the pregnant female body. Lingerie, really wanted to emphasize that all women should feel beautiful in their own skin and body whether you are very pregnant, breastfeeding or at an early stage of pregnancy.

You! Lingerie was born when its founder was searching for an affordable maternity lingerie brand as a new mom. During her search, she just could not find any lingerie brands that specifically targeted towards expectant mothers. They were either boring or extremely over-priced. Okebie-Eichelberger wanted to solve this fashion dilemma for all moms-to-be and was determined to bring “beautiful high fashion, playful, and luxurious maternity and nursing lingerie to stylish moms at an affordable price.”

The fashion show was definitely a one of a kind. Many of the spectators of the show were completely surprised having to see pregnant models walk down the runway only in lingerie. Some even questioned whether the models were really pregnant or not. However, the experience was very unique and special. It is truly amazing that You! Lingerie creates fashion for a good cause.

<h1>Summer Science Camps for Tomorrow&rsquo;s Medical Professionals</h1> We offer a variety of workshops on molecular medicine for high-achieving high school and middle school students interested in pursuing careers in medicine or related fields, such as biomedical research, drug development, pharmacy, bioengineering, or nursing.&nbsp; Workshops are taught by PhD-level instructors with years of research and teaching experience. Camps are offered in summer and winter and there are online and in-person options available.&nbsp;&nbsp; Through engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory classes, students learn normal molecular and cellular biology, and then learn how these normal processes are disrupted or distorted during the development of disease. There is a heavy emphasis on experimental design, modern drug development, and the emergence of the era of personalized medicine. To conclude the workshop, students use what they have learned to create an original research project. More broadly, workshop attendees strengthen their academic skills, build their college portfolio, and explore potential career options while making friends from around the world and experiencing college dorm life in a safe environment.
