It’s Boo at the Zoo again

Boo at the Zoo and dragons, too!

The Bronx Zoo is the host of Boo at the Zoo, every weekend from Oct. 5 through Nov. 3.

It’s time to celebrate the season of witches, bats, cats, and snakes with a trip to the scary Museum of UnNatural Mysteries. Join Dr. B. Zarre and visit his collection of mysterious creatures he has collected through years of exploration and adventure. Come to the Somba Village and visit him there from 11 am to 5 pm.

If that’s too scary, you can take a trip on the Dinosaur Safari from 10 am to 5 pm, and view more than 20 life-like animatronic dinos that are up to 40 feet long. Yikes!

New at the zoo is the musical theater featuring “Beasts of the Magical World,” a puppet musical that tells the story of owls and sorcerers, snakes, frogs, and magic, at Asia Plaza Theater at 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

Check out the Butterfly Patio, which has been transformed into a Halloween maze filled with lots of adventure, from 11 am to 5 pm. You can also dress up and join in the costumed parade from noon to 2 pm and finish off your visit with crafts and magic shows.

The fun abounds each and every weekend from Oct. 5 through Nov. 3. General admission is $16 for adults, $12 for children ages 3 to 12, and tots under 3 are free.
