The DiMenna Children’s History Museum, located on the lower level of the New-York Historical Society, is hosting its second annual Family Benefit Party this Saturday, January 25 from 11am to 2pm.
Both parents and children alike will enjoy exploring interactive exhibits, such as attending a ground-breaking African Free School and visiting a Civil War recruitment office. There will also be opportunities to learn all about Cubist Art and how baseball became America’s favorite past time.
This benefit allows the Dimenna Children’s History Museum and the New York Historical Society to continue to provide students, teachers, and families with one-of-a-kind opportunities to discover this nation’s history, as well as, help to care for their priceless collection of historical artifacts.
New York Historical Society is located at 170 Central Park West (between West 76th and 77th Streets).
Tickets are $75 Child, $150 Adult. For more information or to purchase tickets, please call (212) 485-9279 or e-mail benefitevents@nyhistory.org
