It’s Halloween Harvest time again at Luna Park, weekends now through Oct. 28.
Experience all the thrills, chills, and Halloween frills at this annual pirate-themed event. The park will hum with festive seasonal activities to celebrate autumn.
In addition to nonstop rides and candy, this year’s Halloween Harvest will also feature plenty of spooktacular entertainment, including its newest addition, Tillie’s Tractor — where riders can hop on a tractor and race throughout the park to find their treasure. Other activites include face painting, pumpkin picking and decorating, caricatures, storytelling, pirate entertainment, “Argghs” and crafts, pirate puppet show, magic shows, and more.
Special days include:
• The annual dog parade and costume contest on Oct. 14, where more than 100 of our four-legged friends will participate. An expert panel of judges will evaluate the winners based on Audience Choice, Cutest, Mister/Miss Congeniality, Most Original and Best of Show.
• Marc and the Maniac Carvers, Brooklyn-based pumpkin carvers, back for their fifth year in a row on Oct. 27 to transform a giant gourd into a Halloween masterpiece.
• Concluding festivities on Oct. 28, when everyone will come together for the Halloween Parade and Costume Party.
Halloween Harvest, Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 7 pm, now through Oct. 28. Entry into Halloween Harvest is $20, or free with the purchase of a Luna Pass. Reservations not required.
