Moms aren’t the only ones who like to look and smell good. Remember Dad? He does, too! Treat the father in your life to some much-deserved pampering (yea, guys like it just as much as we do) with some of these beauty and wellness gift ideas.
My husband loves the Kiehl’s Facial Fuel line for men. I turned him onto it many years ago, and since then he’s been using it almost exclusively. The moisturizer is great because it’s light yet still manages to keep the skin hydrated and has the added SPF element, which is important for men who don’t want to fuss with too many products. The best part–and maybe why my husband likes it–is the packaging. The dark blue with red and white accents looks manlier than most products on the shelf. Every little bit helps when it comes to getting men to use nice skin products, right?

I really like Aveda’s hair products, particularly for their scent and durability. The hubby likes the brand, too, especially their men’s line, Aveda Pureformance. Grooming Clay is one of his favorite products.

I feel bad for the men who shave their tender faces daily, especially those with sensitive skin. If you have a husband (or dad) who fits this description, why not treat him to an old-school shaving soap mug soap and brush? I can remember my grandpa using a similar set, as well as my dad. It makes a thick moisturizing lather that will help shave his beautiful face! This one from Etsy is really beautiful as well as practical.

Many men work very hard but, let’s face it, leave little time for self care. I like to treat my hubby to a good massage or other fun wellness activity. This yoga studio is in our Brooklyn neighborhood, and offers lots of interesting therapies. Perhaps a gift card is the most ideal way to go about pampering Dad this Father’s Day.

One last tip: Here are a few friends of mine who are massage therapists. Though some men don’t go for this sort of thing, I bet more often than not it’s just what every guy secretly wants. At least, my husband loves his 90-minute deep tissue massage gift that he receives every holiday.
