Aug. 10: Robin Hood comes to the rescue in a performance geared toward kids at Take One Performing Arts in Ronkonkoma.

Aug. 10 and 17-18: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast offers award-winning songs, daring sword fights, romance, and a feisty heroine. Catch it at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City.

Aug. 6: Follow the story of the little wooden puppet who longs to become a real boy in Pinocchio, playing at NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
