Eek — it’s a T. Rex! – New York Family

It’s amazing, it’s awesome, it’s Walking with Dinosaurs at the Barclays Center from July 16 through July 20.

More than 10 species of dinosaurs are highlighted from the 200-million year reign of the beasts, from the terror-inducing T. Rex to the peaceful plant eaters Plateosaurus. There will also be a Stegosauras and Allosaurus from the Jurassic period — no not the movie — Utahraptor, Brachiosaurs, and a Lilensternus.

The robotic dinos, hatched by Sonny Tilders, the head creature designer at Creature Technology Company will walk through the Barclays Center thrilling, chilling, and entertaining children of all ages.

Walk along with the dinos on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from July 16 through July 20. Show times are at 10:30 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm. Check our listings for exact times and dates. Tickets range from $30 to $94.

Treehouse Shakers

<div>Treehouse Shakers&rsquo; Branching OUT After-School program is for ages 12-14. This awarded program is for young people who identify as LGBTQIA+, or are seeking to become better allies. Branching OUT centers on discovering and exploring one&rsquo;s story and identity through an intentionally artist-led format. During our community-based program, young people will explore and reflect on their own story to create a larger, more meaningful experience, while gaining self-empowerment and gathering with like-minded peers. Through the guidance of our awarded teaching artists, young people will create narratives that will be turned into podcasts, dances, songs or poetry.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Young people have the opportunity to learn new art forms, work with professional artists, while building a meaningful community.</div>

Ivy Camps USA

<p>Ivy Camps USA is a premium online provider of engaging after-school classes, holiday camps, summer camps, and personalized tutoring. Their instructors come from the&nbsp;top 10 US universities and love to inspire and mentor emerging minds. Extracurricular classes, holiday camps, and summer camps are offered in STEM, Business Leadership, and Arts, Media &amp; Communication for ages 6-14.
