You know a shopping website is for you when nine times out of ten you enjoy their posts, you like their sensibility, they still regularly expose you to stuff you didn’t know about, and—even though they’ve been at this for a while—they seem to be getting better at picking stuff that manages to surprise and delight you.
That’s how we feel about Cool Mom Picks, the popular web-based shopping guide by Liz Gumbinner and Kristen Chase, both of who have popular personal blogs, Gumbinner at Mom101 and Chase at Motherhood Uncensored. In the About section of Cool Mom Picks, you can see they’re pre-disposed to quality products that seem original, affordable, and cool or helpful (or both). At the same time, one doesn’t get the sense that there’s a rigid formula at play. If they love something, they love something, whether it’s from an established national manufacturer or an Etsy newbie; likewise, they embrace some great products that cost a premium if they think it’s worth it.
If you’re an expectant or new parent, this is an especially good time to discover Cool Mom Picks because they just released their annual Baby Shower Gift Guide with more than 150 cool gifts, gear, and goodies.
Sure, I could highlight a few of their choices we liked the best, but why ruin your fun?
Rather, I’d just encourage you to put aside a few minutes and jump in.
Enjoy.
