A new NYC-focused exhibit has opened at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. Come celebrate all NYC has to offer.
The Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side has just announced their latest exhibit devoted to New York City – NYC + Me: A Little Bite of the Big Apple. Children will be able to experience the best of NYC through mini-sized replicas of New York taxi cabs, kid-sized police cars, ice skating simulation in socks, and they can even build mock skyscrapers.
As a special addition to the exhibit in celebration of NYC’s home team, the Mets, kids will have fun creating Mets baseball puppets and pennants, which they can take home with them as souvenirs. They may not have won the World Series, but kids can still have fun with the Amazin’ Mets!
CMOM has given children the opportunity to learn about our world via interactive exhibitions, workshops, performances, and other unique programs since 1973.
CMOM is open Tues-Fri and Sunday from 10am-5pm and Saturday from 10am-7pm. Admission is $12 for adults and children, $8 for seniors. Children under 12 months are free. For more information about CMOM and this new exhibit, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/cmom.nyc.
