There’s a science behind everything, even bubbles!
On July 25, the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum takes some time off from its exploration of the largest mammal to focus on one of the tiniest creations — bubbles.
At its annual Bubblefest, children can explore the fun science and art behind bubbles through experiment stations and by creating bubble prints. They’ll also be able to test different bubbles solutions.
And of course you can’t go to an event called Bubblefest without blowing your own bubbles, and they’ll be plenty of opportunity to do just that!
Bubblefest at Cold Spring Harhor Whaling Museum [279 Main St. in Cold Spring Harbor, (631) 367-3418 ext. 17], July 25 at 2 pm. Admission $6 adults, $5 children. For info, visit www.cshwhalingmuseum.org.]
