Susan Chung, sixth degree Master of Tae Kwon Do, mother of two, and co-owner of Bruce Chung Tae Kwon Do and Family Fitness in Harrison, is teaching a new 40-minute express workout class.
Anyone who has taken a class at Bruce Chung Tae Kwon Do and Family Fitness in Harrison knows that it’s the place to go to learn how to kick butt and master tae kwon do, and it’s also the place to go to get your butt kicked in a fitness class. A newly added class does just that for parents on a schedule as well as anyone who simply wants an efficient workout.
Susan Chung, sixth degree Master of Tae Kwon Do (one of only 100 in the U.S.), mother of two, and co-owner of the studio, is now teaching a 40-minute express workout class. She describes it as “streamlined, efficient, and effective,” emphasizing that while the studio offers a multitude of classes ranging from kickboxing to core-work, this class is a total body workout.
The class meets from 1-1:40pm on Mondays and Fridays and is convenient for those parents whose children take a tae kwon do class at the same time. Chung conceived of the class for moms who have a little extra time in the afternoon but emphasizes that it’s open to anyone. “Everyone’s welcome,” she says.
