For all the Moms out there that are always on the run but still want to make Valentine’s Day special for their kids, here’s a hearty start!

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 large egg

Cut out a heart in the bread by hand or with a heart shaped cutter.

In a skillet over medium low heat, place the bread and cut-out heart. Cook about two minutes or until the bread is toasted.

Flip bread over and add egg to the center of the heart stencil. Cover skillet and cook about 2-3 minutes or until the white of the egg is cooked.Salt and pepper to taste. Spread heart cut-out with jam and serve.
