Wherefore Art Thou, Gnomeo?

Just
in time for Valentine’s Day comes a story of star-crossed love, daring
adventure and…lawn gnomes? This zany animated feature “Gnomeo and Juliet,” taking place in the
gardens of Old Lady Montague and Old Man Capulet, pits the red hats and the
blue hats against each other, distressing the love of teens Gnomeo (voiced by
James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt).

But will these warring gnomes drive the
two beloveds to an unfortunate fate? We spoke with director, writer and
animation vet Kelly Asbury to get the scoop on this fun new flick and his
storied career in film.
