WeeZee World of Westchester Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

WeeZee World of Westchester, a family play space full of sensory adventures for children, celebrated its one-year anniversary on April 26, in conjunction with National Sensory Awareness Day.

WeeZee World of “Yes I Can!,” the New York region’s only family play space featuring a cutting-edge sports and play zone, celebrated its one-year anniversary on April 26, in conjunction with National Sensory Awareness Day.

Guests at the anniversary party included children and their parents; town, county, and state officials; professionals from health care associations and autism organizations; and special education teachers and professionals. All the guests gathered for hors d’oeuvres, cake, and open gym play at WeeZee’s 18,000-square-foot facility located at 480 Bedford Road in the Chappaqua Crossing business development.

Opening remarks were made by Marina Yoegel, the Westchester County Early Intervention and Pre-School Assistant Commissioner. Other special guests included Joseph Kenner, Office of the County Executive, assemblyman Tom Abinanti, assemblyman David Buchwald, New Castle Town supervisor Susan Carpenter, and New Castle Town administrator Penny Paderewski.
