Happy National S’mores Day!
The New York Times recently ran a piece about Unbaby.me, a Google Chrome extension that replaces pictures of babies on Facebook with pictures of “awesome stuff”—well awesome to the user like food, animals, LOLCats, and someecards. There are a number of reactions on the web to this app including this one from journalist and mother of two Janice D’Arcy, who thinks the concept of the app is funny; and this one from Sarah Perez, who thinks the app is unnecessary because people just need to learn how to use Facebook’s settings.
