There are tons of wonderful, family-focused events happening this weekend. If you’d like to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your kids, check out our list of V-Day family fun, which boasts events like the Children Museum of the Arts’ annual V-Day Soiree, skating and treats at Bryant Park’s Citi Pond, to a screening of the classic film "The Red Balloon." If you’d like to celebrate Black History month, we also have tons of great ideas at venues like CMOM, the Museum of the City of New York, the Studio Museum in Harlem and more.
We’re also excited about the Max Cure Foundation’s Be Brave Adventures family benefit at Kidville. Featuring live music and dancing, an obstacle course and lots of hands-on games for kids, all of the events proceed the organization’s fight against pediatric cancer.
Want to check out a ballet with your children? Choose from the New York City Ballet’s production of "Swan Lake" and the New York Theatre Ballet’s perennial performance of "Cinderella."
We’re also excited about the Star Wars Party at Dylan’s Candy Bar, "Art Trek" at the Met, the Lunar New Year celebration in Flushing, Queens, and "Click, Clack, Moo" at the BMCC Tribeca.
