Bayside music school Vienna Music held its grand opening on Nov. 30. Vienna Music aims to provide the most comfortable, professional, and suitable environment for music development.
“We researched what kind of environment is best for students to learn and put a lot of effort into building this environment,” says Joseph Char, director of operations. Char says the school is a professional environment with high-quality soundproofing and comfortable classrooms that are equipped with up-scale instruments.
The school offers classes for all ages. The Fundamental Music Introduction group session and Rhythm group session expose children younger than 5 to music. The Music Theory and Sight-Reading class is for more advanced students who want to take exams such as the Royal Schools of Music exam. The school also offers one-on-one professional music lessons in piano, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, guitar, saxophone, vocal, and more. All teachers studied at a professional music conservatory and have years of teaching experience.
Vienna Music also plans to offer events for the community in the future. “I think the involvement of parents and the community are very important,” Char says. “We will occasionally hold events such as music-related movie nights, child development seminars, and small performances by talented musicians.”
