Top Tweets of the Week (November 26, 2012)

Hey Twitterverse! It’s been a while! How was your Thanksgiving? How’s the family? How’s your life? Gosh, it’s good to be back. Let’s review Turkey Day (and the days leading up to it) with some tweets about gratitude, some tweets about pie, some tweets about jokes, and some tweets about how awesome it is to realize how much love exists in this world, not just on Thanksgiving, but when you least expect it!

Ever wonder how your toddler views Thanksgiving? Now ya know.

Picture perfect holidays rarely end up going as planned…at least the mishaps are usually memorable, right?

We asked about your Thanksgiving traditions and you all shared such lovely ideas with us — thank you for letting us in.

Let’s be honest, this is the question on everyone’s mind this week. I think this tweet showed up on my feed 10+ times today…so why not share it a bit more?!

Macaroni I am! This is adorable. Please keep sharing these jokes.

No way, you’re not alone! When else are we supposed to get anything done?!

As we move toward the December holidays, everyone will tell you what you need to buy. But don’t worry — Selfish Mom is here to tell you what you don’t need to buy! Rejoice.

This is important and awesome. It’s great to encourage gratitude year round, not just on the famous turkey day.

We admire this bravery! Hope he got out okay ;)

And as Thanksgiving becomes a distant memory and we barrel full-force ahead to the December holidays and the new year (it’s almost 2013!), sometimes little moments crop up to remind us that no matter how perfectly we orchestrate the family holidays, the best moments in life are often unexpected — but oh so beautiful.
