Feed Maxi! is an app for the iPad and iPad Mini that uses sign language and animation (the app features a cute monkey named Maxi) to improve communication skills in toddlers, preschoolers, young English learners, and children with special needs.
Feed Maxi! was created by local mom-of-two and certified Speech-Language Pathologist Pamela Mandell as part of Speak Eazy Apps (a company specializing in educational apps). This app helps kids enhance their vocabulary and problem-solving skills as they feed and interact with Maxi. Parents are able to check on progress and have the option to customize the app’s difficulty level.
Feed Maxi! is recommended for ages 17 months to 4 years.
