Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean there isn’t still a ton of festivities rocking the city this weekend. Check out our highlights below, including a new space show at the American Museum of Natural History, amazing can sculptures, the return of Bryant Park’s Winter Village, and much more family fun.

 

STARTING FRIDAY

In a truly unique event, Canstruction, the awe-inspiring design contest for building giant structures with canned food for a charity food drive, returns to the World Financial Center for the 21st year. Jump in! (Friday-Sunday)

The famed tale of “Sleeping Beauty” gets an Italian twist at the New Victory Theater, weaving puppetry, magic, and song into the classic story. Enchanting. (Friday-Sunday)

Get a head start on holiday shopping and ice skating fun at Bryant Park, whose annual Winter Village is back with free play, lessons, snacks, and more. More Here (Friday-Sunday)

 

STARTING SATURDAY

Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, at the Rubin Musuem with marigold garland making, clay lamp sculpting, stories, and live performances. Get cultured! (Saturday)

Dogs on Fleas dazzle with snazzy outfits and dancing steps, but what families love most are their meaningful lyrics. Catch them at Symphony Space this weekend. Rock on! (Saturday)
