The Perfect Diaper Bag For Every Style

It’s a lot of fun shopping for baby gear these days, but with all of the variety, it can also be overwhelming. This can be particularly true when it comes to diaper bags. With so many available styles, designs, and colors, there are many bags that may tend to catch your eye. When you’re looking for the perfect diaper bag, be sure to focus on your individual style and needs, as well as what functional aspects are the most important to you. We’ve rounded up a few standouts that appeal to different kinds of moms (and one for dad, too).

For the Hipster Mom

With an abundance of space to stash anything you might possibly need when running around, over-packers will delight in this roomy and unique design. The cushioned exterior features insulated bottle pockets, and the bag comes with a memory foam changing pad, a picture pocket for keeping those precious photos handy, and color-coded pocket tabs to differentiate your children’s belongings. A magnetic and zipper closure system combines with the quirky Fairytella print for the ultimate diaper bag design. $188, tokidoki.it

For The Sporty Mom

Available in quilted or patent black as well as several patterns, like the colorful Aberdeen Stripe print, the Le Sportsac Ryan is cute yet functional. The bag’s material makes it easy to clean, and while there’s plenty of pocket space—both outside and inside, as per Le Sportsac design tradition—for all of your stuff, the bag is still lightweight enough to carry wherever you go. Plus, it easily attaches to your stroller on days when you’ve really got your hands full. $138-158, lesportsac.com

For The Practical Mom

The Skip Hop Chelsea Satchel is convenient yet still maintains runway-worthy appeal with its trendy faux-leather details. Insulated side pockets allow the busy mom on the go to easily store bottles, snacks, and sippy cups, and four interior pockets help you stay organized while running around town. The satchel—which can also be worn by a longer adjustable shoulder strap—clips on to any stroller, and you can even flip the front compartment down for a second versatile look. $99, skiphop.com

A magnetic closure allows for easy opening without the fuss of zippers or Velcro, and it comes in a variety of fabrics and patterns, such as the newest Sunshine in Scandinavia Glazed print to brighten up colder days. $179, petunia.com
