The Bridge Golf Learning Center provides services for golfers of all skill levels and ages.
The Bridge Golf Learning Center in Harlem is open and offers instruction and simulation using state-of-the art technology. The golf center welcomes walk-ins and provides services for golfers of all skill levels and ages.
“TrackMan Golf Simulators teach students about attack angles, spin rates, and anything you can learn about the golf swing,” says program and events coordinator Meghan Costello, commenting on the connection between STEM and golf.
The on-site STEM team contains qualified physicists who will provide proper tutoring, and the professional PGA instructors make full use of their teaching resources to help students learn.
Through the center, The Bridge Golf Foundation is a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of young men of color. It provides an after-school program for students at The Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem that includes golf instruction, a golf-focused STEM program, character education, and mentoring.
The goal of the specialized, golf-immersion activities at The Bridge Golf Learning Foundation is to help students close gaps in achievement, learning, and opportunity.
“As a part of our mission to create greater opportunities and exposure for our young men and their families, we are committed to making the sport [of golf] more accessible and affordable for all people,” Costello says.
