In 2007, Beth Feldman and Yvette Manessis Corporan self-published their hilarious mommy memoir, Peeing in Peace: Tales & Tips for Type A Moms. It has been picked up by the publisher Sourcebooks, and is being re-released this month with more than 70 extra pages of bonus material.
The authors have also made major life changes. Feldman, who lives in Scarsdale, quit her high-powered job at CBS to launch her own public relations firm, BeyondPR. She continues run Role Mommy, managing all online content for the site, writing for a variety of mom websites and publications, and spearheading events that bring together women at the top of their fields balancing work and family. She also blogs for www.NYMetroParents.com. And, she says, “I get to take my kids to school every morning and I never miss a class performance!”
Corporan, of Bronxville, was promoted to senior entertainment producer at Extra. She is currently at work on her first novel and says she is “busy keeping up with my two adorable kids.”
Actress and author Robin Givens called Peeing in Peace, “soooo funny and soooo meaningful.”
