Hop aboard the New York City Transit Museum for fun-filled family programs, from July 6 through 28.
It’s a trip — and then some. Kids can take nostalgia rides and learn about underground tunnels, map-making, and how to be an engineer. Workshops are geared to children age 3 and older.
Assignment Subway is on July 6-7 at 1:30 pm; the Nostalgia Ride takes off on July 13 from 10 am to 5 pm, leaving from Grand Central Terminal for the Bronx; Fantastic Tunnels is on July 13-14 at 1:30 pm; Junior Engineer is on July 20-21 at 1:30 pm; and map-making is on July 27-28 at 1:30 pm.
Workshops are free with general museum admission; Nostalgia Ride is $50 for adults and $25 for children age 2 to 17.
