In its seventh year, Locals Surf School offers all types of surf and skate lessons, camps, charity programs, contests, festivals, and more! Known as New York’s Premiere surf school, they continue to foster the growth surf culture in New York.

New York Surf School’s mission is to “teach anyone who wants to learn how to surf in NYC, and not just to surf, but to fall in love with surfing.” Along with teaching the technique and skills, they pride themselves on instilling good etiquette and a respect for the environment into each lesson!

Sierra Surf School welcomes all levels and abilities to their lessons where they go over parts of the surfboard, the technique of popping up, stretching, safety protocol, and surf terminology! The certified instructors at camp will enable you to read the ocean so you’re able to catch every wave that comes your way.
