Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids, opening a new location in Westport, offers salon services for children in Fairfield County. The children’s salon offers fun for all ages, from themed stations to a tween lounge and gaming stations.
The Barbie Jeep, Lightning McQueen from Cars, and a Mini Cooper are options for children to sit in to get their haircut.
Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is preparing for its grand opening on Aug. 3 on Post Road East in Westport. This location will serve as the company’s new corporate flagship store as well as a training center for its employees. At the opening, kids will receive a back-to-school gift and meet a few surprise high profile guests.
Children can choose which custom designed chair they sit in, including a Barbie Jeep or Harley Davidson. Each visit includes a wash, haircut, blow-dry, mini manicures, and other favors. Sharkey’s welcomes all ages and has specials for “baby’s first haircut,” adult cuts, updos, and girly glamour parties. Older kids have the luxury of hanging out in the tween lounge or playing at one of the multiple gaming stations.

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is open Monday and Tuesday from 10am-6pm, Wednesday-Friday from 10am-7pm, Saturday from 9am-6pm, and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
