Pump It Up Norwalk adds music classes for kids with local musicians Jay and Ray. Learn more about Pump It Up’s birthdays and music classes for kids in Norwalk.
Pump It Up offers children’s birthday parties and open jump sessions in its indoor space, which is filled with inflatables. Children must be 34 inches tall, and owner Monique Rutledge estimated 2 years old, to play on the inflatables.
Kids can choose from a variety of party themes, like glow in the dark and princess. Open jump sessions have themes, too, ranging from super hero jump, family jump, and ice cream jump.
Pump It Up also offers activities when schools are off for holidays, field trips, and fundraising events.
Beginning January, Pump It Up will offer a new music class with Connecticut-area musicians Jay and Ray. Jay and Ray will host 45-minute musical jam sessions at Pump It Up where children ages 6 and younger can play instruments, sing songs, and enjoy other musical activities.
“Jay and Ray are two stay-at-home dads that formed a band and are very popular in Connecticut,” Rutledge says. Both Jay and Ray have studied and teach music, and Ray is currently completing his master’s in early childhood music education.
In addition to the music class, children who attend will have bounce time with the inflatables as well as snacks. Classes start in January (start date was TBA as of press date) and run once a week for 10 weeks from 10:30am-12pm. Each class is $30, and registration is open.
