Legoland Discovery Center Westchester has a new Lego sculpture on display Oct. 1-14 at Westchester’s Ridge Hill: a Porsche 911 RSR that is half constructed of Lego bricks, half real car.
Calling all Lego lovers and car fanatics: Legoland Discovery Center Westchester and Porsche have teamed up to bring a one-of-a-kind Lego show car to Ridge Hill. The Porsche 911 RSR—half Lego, half car—will be on display Oct. 1-14 in Westchester as part of its first tour of America. The car will be on display at Ridge Hill’s Fountain Plaza near Legoland Discovery Center.

The Lego show car is made up of 380,000 Lego pieces, and features working head and rear lights. It took four builders more than 633 hours to build, placing 600 bricks per hour in 122 rows, using 200 different Lego bricks. The car measures almost 4-feet tall, nearly 15-feet long, and weighs just shy of 1,000 pounds.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11am-3pm, representatives will be on-site from Porsche Cars North America and The Lego Group. Maegan Moguel, brand partner of Porsche North America and Matthew Zaleta, brand marketing from The Lego Group, will be on hand to answer questions about the car and collaboration, and will be handing out free posters. There will also be multiple chances to win free Lego sets for all the Porsche and Lego fans in attendance.
