Over the Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project Concert at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre

Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project is a multimedia charity project of
original lullabies composed and sung by Broadway stars (like our March issue’s
cover mom Audra McDonald), established to raise money for breast cancer
foundations. Don’t miss this free concert, where you’ll get to hear some of the
tunes and watch excerpts from the project’s documentary.

artists) ages five and up should head to shore (CMA’s Fine Arts Studio) for a
mixed-media workshop that’s right up their alley. Utilizing sculpture
materials, kids can construct a jellyfish, octopus or starfish.

Design
a T-shirt or Tote Bag for Mom at Moomah

Kids can decorate a tee or tote for Mom using stencils, fabric paint and
markers. The workshop begins with a frolic in Moomah’s fabulous Funky
Forest. Children younger than four must be accompanied by an adult.

of American Ballet Community Auditions

Aspiring dancers, head to P.S. 124 in Chinatown for free community
auditions for the School of American Ballet. This is specifically for boys and
girls ages 6-10, and previous training is NOT necessary. Pre-registration is
recommended but not required.
