Miss Ophelia At The New Victory Theater

run, the stage adaptation of Ophelia’s
Shadow Theatre
tells the story of Miss Ophelia, an ordinary girl who
experiences an extraordinary thing. Homespun puppetry is used to dramatize the
tale.

the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

King, Jr. with a weekend (three days!) of “birthday” activities. Today,
explore the ideas and images that surround the Civil Rights leader, then create
your own living legacy collage to take home.

MAD Fun: Family Day At The Museum of Arts and Design

Recommended for ages 6 and
older, this stellar family day begins in the galleries, of course! Peruse a
collection from contemporary Korean artists before heading into the Open Studio
to meet jewelry-maker David Choi. The day ends with an energetic dance workshop
by Jack Fever.
