Mamiverse is an incredibly vast and rich web source for Latina Moms throughout the world. Using their motto, “Universal Empowerment for Latina Moms & Families,” Mamiverse strives to be the only source a Latina mom might ever need to feel connected not only to other parents, but world culture, recipes, financial advice, even style tips to keep you chic (even with a three-year old on your hip).
All of the contributors on Mamiverse are Latina moms, giving readers a fully authentic experience that allows for a more productive mom dialogue and addresses specific issues targeting Latin moms as well as the mom community at large. Mamiverse breaks down their postings by Health, Money, School, Style and TV Mami categories, each featuring several subcategories that offer very targeted posts (example: under School you’ll find “College Bound Mami” to help prepare your children for college, as well as “Bilingual Mami,: a section focused on tackling bilingual issues as they mesh with your child’s education.) Because Mamiverse has such a full order on its editorial plate, not all sections and subcategories are posted in daily, however, the frequency of postings in all sections is impressively high.
Mamiverse is also a great asset for more than just parenting tips. In the Mamiverse Style section, women can get great tips of gift-buying, shopping, trendy styles, what the celebs are wearing and makeup products and tips. Mamiverse knows it’s important for a mama not to lose her glam post-baby and they certainly give women all the tools to feel and look great!
If you’d like to immerse yourself more in the Mamiverse, they offer Club Mami to their users, where you can be part of a social network of Latina moms and daughters to swap stories, give advice and even meet up in your community. It’s a great personal touch that goes the extra miles for Latin moms navigating the fabulous Mamiverse. — Melanie Baker
