New Year’s Eve Restaurants For Fams


That time of year is upon us again…that dreaded day we are supposed to don sparkly clothes, drink sparkly drinks and have the time of our lives…and overpay a sitter!
Why not include your kids in your New Year’s Eve plans? Here are some family-friendly suggestions from MiniMunchers, NYC’s first only source for kid-friendly restaurants in Manhattan, of where to go in NYC. May not be glamorous but you can still don sparkles, drink bubbly and toast 2012 with family!


1. BR Guest Restaurants –  From 2-6pm at Isabella’s, Wildwood BBQ, Bills Bar and Burger & Atlantic Grill kids will enjoy the balloons and face painting while parents will toast over yummy food!

2. Neelys Barbecue Parlor – This 2011 newcomer from Food Network stars will have a designated 3-course price fixe (12.95) for kids from 4-6 which will include cupcake decorating, a kiddie dance floor, mock tails and a piñata ball drop! Adults are $59.95 for a four course meal.

3. Moomah – TriBeCa’s hip creative kids MECCA will host three new years countdowns (noon, 1pm & 2pm) with non-alcoholic bubbly for the kids & the Real stuff for adults. Kids can make special noisemakers while the whole family enjoys their organic, locally sourced menu.

4. Big Daddy’s – The fun upscale ULTRA kid-friendly diner will be serving Breakfast All Day, and having a Champagne Toast & Tots Celebration at Midnight! The champagne and tater tots will be on the house! BD’s will also be passing around glow sticks, 2012 glasses and other New Year’s Eve Party accessories!
