* We couldn’t agree more with the words lettered into this straw bag from Kate Spade: “I Need A Vacation.” It’s one of a cool bunch of gift and treat suggestions for Mother’s Day. We have other big ideas too:

* Why not have your partner and helpful children prepare a dish that everyone would enjoy, like—dare we say it?—Mac & Cheese, only this one, with a recipe from Kelsey Banfield, The Naptime Chef, really is for the whole family.

* Here’s a few more from others on our Yummy Delicious blog: Banana Bread, a breakfast of sweethearts (think geometric shapes), and decadent chocolate chunk pancakes.

* Or how about a few restaurant brunches to say yes to? When our restaurant blogger, Carla Sullivan of MiniMunchers.com, did a round-up of restaurants for Easter brunches, the fine print said that these restaurants were great for any spring weekend day (i.e. such as Mother’s Day). She got so into it, she gave us two lists, this one and that one.
