On Sept. 1, Kathryn Reluga, D.M.D., who has an orthodontic practice in Meriden, became the owner of The Fairfield Orthodontic Center in Fairfield. Dr. Reluga has 15 years of clinical experience and specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She was invited to join the practice by former owner Thomas Christie, D.D.S., who established The Fairfield Orthodontic Center more than 40 years.
The practice offers a full spectrum of state-of-the-art orthodontic care for kids, teens, and adults. “Modern advances in orthodontic technology allow us to offer patients varying treatment options,” Dr. Reluga says. Those treatment options include braces, Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, and habit breaking such as thumb sucking. Dr. Reluga also has an extensive background in art and facial symmetry, which allows her to assess each patient’s facial form and determine the best orthodontic technique to achieve the ideal result. The practice is dedicated to providing a relaxing and positive experience through highly personalized care and each patient receives a comprehensive treatment plan according to his or her individual needs.
Dr. Reluga believes that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health, which is why she focuses on thorough exams and works closely with patients’ dentists.
