Halloween cartoon magic and fun is on the menu at Voelker Orth Museum on Oct. 28.
Fun for kids of all ages, animation historian Tommy Jose Stathes treats visitors to a reel of spooky cartoons from the 1920–30s. A master of vintage animation, Stathes conjures the magic of early cinema — fun and not-too-scary — projected on 16-millimeter film.
The screening starts at 5 pm but there’s mask-making, flip books, and refreshments before the show, starting at 3:30 pm. Come for the full program or just the films.
