Event Recap: The DiMenna Children’s History Museum Family Benefit

New York Family was thrilled to be a media sponsor for the second annual Family Benefit Party at the DiMenna Children’s History Museum at the New-York Historical Society. In recent years, the New York Historical society has done so much to increase their family programming offerings, with it’s anchor being the DiMenna Children’s History Museum. Founded in November 2011, the museum provides a fun and engaging environment for kids to learn about our nation’s history.

The Family Benefit Party helped raise just under $250,000 on behalf of the museum with the help of 520 attendees, including comedian and local-mom Tina Fey. Parents and their children who came to the benefit were also able to enjoy the museum’s interactive galleries, which featured exhibits on historical events like the invention of baseball and the cubist revolution.
